Engineering Feasibility Study for Relocating a Cocoa Powder Plant

Ludan conducted a comprehensive feasibility study for Strauss Coffee, examining the relocation of the cocoa powder plant to Tzfat, integrating advanced engineering, logistics, and operational solutions.

The project aimed to assess the possibility of transferring the production lines to a new location while improving operational efficiency, optimizing production processes, and reducing operational costs.
The feasibility study included an in-depth analysis of engineering, logistics, and economic aspects, providing a solid data foundation for a strategic decision on the matter.

Project Scope:Feasibility Study – Assessment of options and challenges involved in relocating the plant.
Preliminary Design (PFD & 3D Model) – Creation of process flow diagrams and a 3D model.
Logistics Planning – Analysis of material flow and design of storage and transportation systems.
Comprehensive Engineering Design (Civil & Electrical) – Structural, electrical, and infrastructure adaptations.
Cost Estimate – Development of an initial budget for the relocation.

Through the feasibility study, Strauss received a professional and thorough analysis of the economic, engineering, and operational implications of relocating the plant to Tzfat, enabling informed and effective decision-making.
